Our School

Dear Families:

Summer has begun! Camp is full of fun activities and water play. Each week has a new and exciting theme. July Tutor Times Calendar is bursting with fun events, activities and celebrations. Please continue to follow on our website.

Curriculum…This month’s theme is Celebrating Summer. Our song of the month is Take Me Out To The Ballgame. A copy of our July and August Songs, Poems and Fingerplays is available on our website under News and Events. Music and American Sign Language programs have completed for the school year; both programs will return in September.

In-House Visitors… We are excited for our in-house visitors, planned once a week, to enhance our summer camp program. Water safety, a petting zoo, an ice cream truck, and Bus A Move are July's highlights.

Field Trips… Explorer Campers travel once a week. Long Island Ninjutsu Center, Krafty Hands, White Post Farms, and Monster Golf are July's trips. Our Adventure Campers travels daily. By using our communication app, PreciouStatus, you will know what time their camper leaves Tutor Time, arrives at their destination and arrives safely back to Tutor Time.

Water Play… All children 18 months and older will enjoy our sprinkler water park! Water play will be most mornings. Please bring your child dressed for water play, along with their closed toed water shoes, towel and hat and their first application of sunscreen on. A waterproof bag for their swim attire and towel is also needed. Please keep in mind that children will need to have a pair of dry closed toe shoes to play on the playground, as well. We will re-apply sunscreen each afternoon. Please ensure we have your child’s labeled sunscreen container and the sunscreen permission slip. Please, no aerosol sunscreens. Kindly ensure all wet clothes and shoes are brought home each day to dry.

We are proud and honored to be a part of your child’s physical, social, and educational development. Please do not hesitate to come to any member of the Administrative team with any concerns you may have.

Best wishes,

Lauren, Debra, Jessica, Jessica L and Marissa
